Welcome to Vision Montessori School (Est. 1971)
Our Ethos: "To have happy children gainfully employed, creating the adults they will become."
Thank you for visiting our website, we hope you will enjoy learning about how we believe we can support your child's introduction to the Montessori foundation.
Established 50 years ago, we at Vision Montessori, formerly Sudbury Hill Montessori School, are very passionate about promoting the principles of Montessori Education as well as the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) Curriculum. We have a team of highly qualified Early Years practitioners, including staff with EYTS/EYPS (Early Years Teacher/Professional Status - Level 6) as well as Montessori (Montessori Centre International) qualifications, who are all dedicated to fostering the personal development of the children.
We currently accept children 2+ years of age, as this is when the Montessori method is most effective. Vision Montessori School offers places to children aged 3/4 eligible for childcare provision under both the 15 hours a week or 30 hours a week NEG (Nursery Education Grant) schemes, as well as the 2 year old funding scheme.
To learn more about the school, please come and visit us along with your child by filling in the contact form.
"Our care of the child
should be governed, not by the desire to make him learn things, but by the endeavor always to keep burning within him that light which is called intelligence."
~Maria Montessori
